why does body odor smell bad when every other animal likes the smell of other animals
we havent used soap and deodorant and stuff to evolve away enjoying the smell of each other

Few animals besides humans actually sweat
Bacteria live on your skin and feed on the sweat, and they are the source of the odour.
If you use rubbing alcohol on your skin, you should be able to kill off such bacteria and eliminate the odour.

Might be a learned behavior with the modern age and bathing. Like the change in human sleep cycles with the advent of electricity. Go back to medieval europe, no peasant bathed regularly but they still had kids.

Smelling is a social construct like say liking or disliking the smell of pungent cheese or something. It's a learned behavior. People who are upper class don't need to sweat and can bathe so they smell different (read better because they are rich) than the poors that can't do that. Other animals also don't sweat, they don't talk and they don't wear clothes.

We do use wet wipes. I use as much dry tp as needed until it comes back clean, then a once over with a wet one (folding it a few times to get 4-5 good scrubs) at the end for good measure. Taught my gf the same technique when we first started getting kinky.

Animals have different tolerances and many do clean themselves to an extent.
We can also take showers (with scentless soap too) and be clean but have a natural scent that someone right up against us can detect, especially if temperature begins to rise.
That scent is different from what you get when bacteria and germs start doing their thing with dead cells, sweat, etc.
