what the fuck is a dyadic and why does my fluids mechanics text keep referencing it?

Tensor product of two vectors, i.e. a matrix.
The name is historical.

in calc 1 you learn
vector x vector = vector (cross product
vector * vector = scalar (dot product)

the cross product retains the vector's dimensionality; the dot product collapses the vector's dimensionality. it would seem possible there exists another product that expands the vector's dimensionality.

vector#vector = matrix (dyadic product)

it's not just historical.

It's just an outer product, you nimrods.

So what's the cross product? A forward product? Lmao retard.

A cross product is simply an exterior product my melanated brown nigger friend.
