There are millions of deer. The bioweapon stuff is probably /x/ crap but it shouldn't be surprising that some wild animals develop weird diseases and in the age of cameras everywhere, some get photographed.

Nothing rare, DNA viruses (Papillomaviridae) causes cancer. The schizos going against the HPV vaccine are in favor of seeying people with that kind of crap
>Officials were quick to identify the condition as deer cutaneous fibroma, better known as "deer warts". The condition is caused by a virus that spreads between the deer, and experts have warned of an outbreak this summer. It is often spread by disease-carrying insects, like mosquitos and tics. They pass on the virus by transferring the blood of infected animals into healthy ones. The disease-carrying insects breed in warm weather, which is why there are more wart-ridden deer in summer.
Sad that I had to go to /pol/ for a rational explanation while /sci/ went down the /x/tard path.

I'm not aware of any studies on the ecological impact of eliminating ticks but I suspect they're not considered possible to wipe out. Mosquitos on the other hand probably could be wiped out and as far as we know, their place in the food web isn't essential. There is fear that we are overlooking something and there will be disastrous consequences if we get rid of them.

Typical response from someone who is shitting up /sci/ when confronted with the reality that this thread, like so many others, have little to no actual science discussion in them. You're angry because he found a science answer on /pol/, which I notice you didn't even bother addressing. Of course you want him to "stay there" so you can continue to shit up /sci/.

This is what /sci/ has become. There's nothing logical or scientific in your post, just more /x/ nonsense. I once saw a man with red hair kick a dog. Guess that means all animal abuse comes from red heads.

That poor dear got too close to:
"The Watts Bar Nuclear Plant is a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) nuclear reactor pair used for electric power generation. It is located on a [...] site in Rhea County, Tennessee, near Spring City, between Chattanooga and Knoxville."
