My psychiatrist has me on five different medications. They work, but damn, five different meds...

Do you even know what they do? Messing with the human mind like that can't be good long term.

Nobody really knows
In theory anti-psychotics just shut down a part of your brain and hopefully this includes the sick part
Supposedly modern gens shut down a smaller, more targeted part, and should have less side-effects, but in practice they are more inefficient so the hard cases will need the old gens

Basically as someone who has taken them for years, there's really no difference besides that old gen is more potent.
Schizophrenia is just hyper-dopamine, your brain is functioning at 200%.
Anti psychotics just shut it down and now you are at 80%.

Have you ever tried a dopamine detox or whatever the fuck they call it? Or just meditation, i find just sitting for w hile doing nothing or just doing some random chores for a while with no goal calms me down a little. The modern world is too stimulating and exciting and fearful and angry and just doing simple things and plain things can be relieving.

No I'm schizomaxxing.
I am taking all the meds and trying to raise my dopamine levels while medicated.
Then when one day that I will stop taking them, I will be like Goku who trained with weights.
I will be the ultimate GigaSchizo.

You'll probably end up zombified and it'll be even harder to get to balanced dopamine levels when you do recover but to each their own.
