Well according to some sources she was credited with showing that apes warred with one another, and humans aren't really unique for this. If this idea was indeed spread by her research (which seems like it was just spending a long amount of time just observing the animals), then it just means that people before her were making strong conclusions about animals without enough actual data.

Your second sentence is delusional. Social media just makes it so the two sides just get pushed into further extremes. Furthermore the underlying issues pushing immigration (farm slave labor) also isn't getting solved, there is still a demand for brown workers even if you give ICE a gajillion dollars in funding.
