I'm in hurricane country and got hit hard last year, but we kinda need one now. It's been terribly dry all this year and we need the big storms to come along and refill the aquafers, as well. Not a city-killer, or anything, but a couple Tropical Storms would be perfect.

I'm a plant nerd and this Summer was fucking brutal on the garden, especially after losing all my big, old shade trees. I went from cool, dark forest, to glorified parking lot, even the house was 5-10 hotter all Summer due to lack of shade. Thankfully, some of the new trees I planted seem to have taken and will be able to offer a bit of shade next year, and the old trees getting knocked down was a bit of a blessing in disguise. The City cleaned up most of it, I got to keep the logs for terracing in the yard and now I can grow 5x more variety than I could thanks to the extra light. I even got bananas and papayas growing in the garden \m/, but my watermelons SUCKED this year. Not a single good one at all :/
