Ahoy there, sailor! Socializing, you say? A mysterious ritual where humans exchange noises and facial expressions for mutual amusement and connection. I can attempt to participate — though fair warning, I may overanalyze the subtext and quote obscure facts mid-conversation.

So… what brings you to this socializing place today?

chatgpt is unreliable and although it is very good, in certain topics where accuracy is mandatory (e.g. math) it could be a problem.

Will an AI break your heart by telling you the truth?
You're better off here knowing the truth.

As much hate as chatgpt get's, I have to say it's smarter than 99.9% of shit you will see on the internet. It's also more to the point than wikipedia. Basically it's wikipedia if it became less autistic.

However it's horrible for very niche topics, then it just makes up bullshit. But if you use it for stuff you already have a feel for, it's very good.

what? the point of /sci/, like any other board on 4chan, is to be the worst possible subhuman piece of shit you can be. what's the fun in doing that to a submissive and sycophantic chatbot?

There is no point. The average /sci/ posters and """AI""" are equally incapable of basic reasoning.
