Any microscope anons in here?

I've always been fascinated by microscopes and seeing the tiny details of things and I've been wanting to get my hands on an electron microscope. Does anyone know where for under $1000 that is decent?

Your best bet is to snoop state property auction sites and bid on 'scientific equipment' auctioned off by universities. Sometimes you can find electron microscopes in those lots. Whether they work or not is another matter entirely.
