The fat support the hungry brain it's easier for you to access more resources

If you lose 10% of body fat quick by using some stupid drug or self-starvation then it's impossible to feel good for some time, that's the equivalent to a mutilation.
Do exercise and check your diet (the micronutrients instead of muh calories)
>b-but I don't want to
In that case GYFS

Same. I lost 40kg in the last 14 months doing keto and I'm at the ideal weight for my age and height according to this
https://www.calculator.net/ideal-weight-calculator.html
But I feel like I have severe brain damage and I still have a huge fat stomach unless I suck my gut in all the time. I walk for at least half an hour every day and do a little bit of weights.

high physical strain (like lifting weights) causes micro strokes and hemmorages in the brain, they are only detectable years later when damaged brain tissue attrophies and their immediate effect is almost undetectable but compounding effect over time is mental deterioration and dementia
if you want to preserve your brain do only light to medium cardio and keep ballanced fat rich diet

Chad gets laid anyway, so he never needed to develop his brainpower.
Nerd doesn't get laid, so he must get smart if ever wants a chance to see a real vagina.

Big if true.
How about heavy cardio? Does that cause dementia too?

nta but I've read that to much cardio releases excessive cortisol that damages the hippocampus

The macros. And no, calories, whether too low or too high still matter.

This.

Power lfting makes you retarded.
Meathead syndrome is real.
They are constantly overpressurizing the brain, causing little bleeding events.

... survey found that 35% of university athletes experienced headache associated with sports activities; weight training was the second most frequent headache-related sport after running [52]. Of those who had headache, 60% described effort-related headaches.
Three different types of benign headaches are thought to occur with relative frequency in weight lifters: benign exertional headache (BEH), cervicogenic headache, and exercise-induced migraine [53].

Central nervous system lesions

More sinister intracranial conditions have been associated with weight lifting. Many of these are thought to be associated with marked increases in intra-abdominal [64], intrathoracic [65], and intra-arterial [66] pressure during Valsalva maneuver in the midst of moving heavy weights. Intra-arterial pressure can be transmitted directly to intracranial vessels, with the increased intrathoracic pressure also increasing central venous pressure, thereby impeding venous outflow and leading to ...

Only jealous people think that fit guy must be dumb. Because they can't accept that someone is better looking, healthier AND smarter then them.

Most studies show that good cardiovascular health is linked to higher mental performance. Actually, being healthier is always better for IQ: try solving a problem while you have pain in your tooth or stomach.

If you have headache during or after weight lifting - visit a doctor. May be high pressure.

Exercise improves cardiovascular health. If you don't exercise you'll probably pop the same capillaries anyway lifting grocery bags.

I don't know, maybe you're defective. Losing weight had the opposite effect on me, feel much more energetic and alert.

Only annoying part is I get cold more easily, especially if I haven't eaten for a while. But the pros far outweigh losing that seal-like layer of lard.

(1) your metabolism slowed down after you starved yourself. As soon as you stop starving yourself you will gain the weight right back
(2) the body uses fat to store toxins, so now that you depleted your fat stores, your body is slowly poisoning itself, and is craving for you to gain the weight back

The only safe long-term way to losing weight is slow and steady detoxing. The body tightly controls satiety in accordance with how much toxins it is safe to expose you to. Storing toxins in fat cells keeps you safe, but eventually causes heart disease though, so there's no win long-term, only short-term keeping the engine sputtering.

The brain consumes 20% of the bodies energy, then you realize how much is spent with the liver metabolizing food, the kidneys excreting toxins, heart pumping blood ... it's obvious that too much exercise and muscle mass directly cuts into your ability to supply brain power.

>>16840415
yep most engineers are skinny, which shows high metabolism = fast brain metabolism

You probably lost a ton of vitamins and minerals with your stupid diet and excesive exercise. It's ok, reduce your exercise routine ( that is enough to burn off excess calories), balance your food, as usual avoid processed stuff, cook quality home meals, also take multivitamins (make sure they variety of b vitamins with doses not higher than 300-500% recommended daily intake). Don't overdo exercise, eat good, take vitamins, get enough rest and you will regain your lost iq points and maybe even gain few extra.
