Pretty much a healthcare system that can freely invent new diseases and successfully market them to the masses without suffering any repercussions or investigations must have long since abandoned the goal of curing things since infinite treatment simply is more profitable. And it really doesn't matter whether or not the additional long-term treatment is beneficial to the patient.

Why "really cure" cancer when you can marketize the shit out of follow-up screens and long-term drug treatments.
Put people on anti-depressants and they stay depressed indefinitely because the SSRIs are messing up their brain.

while this comment clearly reads like your average reddit whataboutism, I'm 100 % sure it's just a random fag.

Because health care costs are high, people dont do maintenance of their health, when they do require health services, its either too late or in late stage. But if people do regular hospital checks, their insurance goes up or they have to spent lot more. Death/injury/failure are norm in hospital because hospitals deal with failing human health. Humans are failing organic beings that fail over time.

Catch-22.

Catch-22.
That's not what a catch-22 means.

The implication is that to come to God health from illness is the default state of being, and that medical companies deprive their customers of this natural state.
This is obviously untrue so the twatter post proposition is wrong.

If it's really pure capitalism, why can't I just hang a shingle out saying I'm a specialist doctor with 0 training or certifications and sell my own formulated patent medicines with no regulations?

Just sayin...
