If we found oil in space would it be proof life outside earth?

Titan, a Jupiter's moon, is a planet with methane/hydrocarbons seas (oil)

presumably, as the synthesis of oil is found through life and is yoked scantily

Yes if the molecule's chirality is only one side.
If it's around 50/50, then no.
Same with any carbo-hydrates found in comets and asteroids :
Both side 50/50 = molecules build randomly
One side is more than 90/10 = A molecular automaton build it

Certain compositions perhaps, but not just liquid hydrocarbons. Titan has more hydrocarbons than Earth and its presence can be explained without life.

We can't say for sure that oil can't somehow be made without life.

I think there's oil in the tank of the car that Elon Musk send to orbit the sun, so probably not
