>can train yourself to become much better at subjects like math, chess, logic, music, other languages, and even memorization
>can't train yourself to become better at brain teasers and pattern matching, nope that's immutable since birth, nothing you can do can improve this
defeatist nonsense

>what is language
>what is learning a music instrument
>etc.
g itself is hard to measure, IQ actually are affected by previous training, the idea is trying to measure very short term adaptation for a new situation with simple tasks so in the end you're also limited by 'raw reaction time' (reaction time was also used to estimate intelligence). You could replace all the Raven matrices with a convoluted situation (it would discriminate even more) or a new language (the learning curve is terrible) and the result would be the same, there're people that learns way faster and more accurately.
IQ will be obsolete when people develops a better way to process complex task to estimate g that probably will be a multi-dimensional value.

Say who?
Why did you train yourself to listen to them?

No one says that, it's well known you can practice for iq tests. A lot of people who care a lot, like mensa shitters, do that.

There is also some validity to the idea that sub saharan Africans do poorly at iq tests because they haven't been primed by society to perform those kinds of tests. Doesn't explain why blacks brought up in white society do poorly though.
