We've had restrictions for consuls since book 1 (look at the MoS). No one was complaining back in 1.0 because the restrictions made sense but now we get shit like the champion which is locked into choosing between two weapons that have nothing to do with him being a champion other than being the ones the new resin champions are sold with. "Feels" have nothing to do with it, it's greed and incompetence.
