We already had this debate in a previous thread. It largely operated by real world rules.
Somehow, you have to accept that "6 Tails is clearly portrayed to be stronger than Sage Naruto" because.... you feel like it? Because Pain used Chibaku Tensei on it? But that's just raw power stuff and it clearly doesn't reflect how actual fights go in that universe.
But, you have to ALSO completely and actively deny the manga showing us Sage Naruto literally throwing Kyuubi by the tail and slapping him around with giant Rasengans, much to Kyuubi's dislike.
