It's because they just added it to the game without making any changes. The game was lit with traditional lighting rather than ray tracing, so when you turn it on everything looks wrong 90% of the time. When the sun is out in Albion, it does actually look better with RT turned on, but it looks like shit at night time.

Also, why the fuck can't you use photo mode with any of these interactable spots around the pool? Shit sucks.
