Evade Extender is recommended for hunting underwater as you cover more distance rolling around with your weapon drawn. It is even better if your weapon can perform follow-up attacks after rolling underwater.

Breaking Lagiacrus's dorsal spines can reduce the amount of electricity it can store. This is especially crippling against Abyssal Lagiacrus, who doesn't need to store electricity at all before releasing them.
