It’s mostly because a bunch of the nu-zoomers (borns or raised in the 2010’s) grew up watching shit like Gumball, Regular Show, AT, and ST. Old-school zoomers from the 2000’s grew up watching Ben 10.

Pretty unfair to compare them if you ask me considering that Ben 10 has had a far more significant media presence than even AT.
