I've been a relatively casual Destiny player but this is the first expansion I haven't bought at launch since D1 released.

Obviously the main story is over and that's one thing, but the lack of 'Destiny' energy with this launch really goes to show how the current dev team has no idea how to capture the atmosphere that made Destiny what it was. I mean come on, a boring nerd with glasses? Yep, that's definitely what pulled me in when I first saw pic related.

Bungie is just soulless now
