>contextless prologue in the middle of chapter 5 leaves me confused but hyped up
>whiplash back to reality, start chapter 1 ready for more action
>spend 20 minutes going around the city talking to every NPC, wouldn't wanna miss out on precious LORE
>find a cat 3 times to get a bit of money
>completing cat side quest updating the NPC dialogues, spend another 20 minutes combing the city for new LORE
>go around the sewers scanning every enemy
>kill unique boss from side quest, forgot to scan the unique ads it summons when it's under 10% hp
>restart game
>do it all over again
>finally I am ready to continue the story
>do 1 MSQ with 1 hour worth of exposition
>at last allowed to wander outside the city
>forgot to check the new NPC dialogues before leaving the city, missed on major LORE implications
>reload game, spend 20 minutes talking to every NPC this time
>leave city, NPCs have updated again so I immediately re-enter the city and spend 20 minutes talking to all of them
>finally off on my journey
>halfway to my first dungeon realize I didn't pick up the collectable novel issue that spawned in the sewers after I left the city
>hit an invisible point of no return, can't go back to the city for the novel
>make a mental note to check the sewer after
>5 hours later dungeon is over, chapter 1 ends with entrance to the sewer getting sealed by the local priest
>look up guide, novel issue is gone forever and I can't get the ultimate weapon without all of them
>restart game
