What I never liked was how in the first game the galaxy is kinda gritty, all the weapons look bolted together and even the menus are CRTs. Go to a new galaxy in the next game and it's more sleek, shiny and corporate which makes sense.
Then you go back to the first galaxy in the third game and it feels a lot more like the second games galaxy than the firsts
