i remember being genuinely pissed when they overhauled it from the hobo sam trailer. i'm genuinely curious where they would've went with it. it would've at least been interesting to see the series go into even more darker territory like it seemed it would.
also i'm sure any splinter cell head knew this but the recently discovered scrapped DS conviction game that used hobo sam's design is hilarious to me, they clearly shat it out and mostly finished it in a few weeks while the hobo sam era was still in mind
