At most two films. Movie 1 would cover everything that happened in the 2000s, right up until Bob's passing, maybe with a fake out ending that Chris would change his ways.

But the sequel would cover the tom girl to incest period. Would be a lot darker. Might have to shuffle some events around for it to work. Likely would end it with Chris' arrest.

The real issue is that most of the funny things Chris did were confined to his home and interacting with people he met online. That'd be hard to make interesting in the first film. Movie 2 covering his trooning out and relationship with Barb would have a lot more going on, but for most would be a hard watch.
