from my experience a lot of smaller businesses especially cafes/pubs will only hire 18-21yos because they can pay them much less here, even when they know they do a worse job, tried getting jobs in a few pubs I used to frequent since I have experience but the dumb fuck landlords would rather hire some fresh out of school retard that has no idea what they're doing
also starting to hate the term zoomer, most of them are in their mid to late 20s by now and generally don't describe what people are talking about
