>It doesn't. It is a paper mache version of a tractor, not something you can till a field with. You can only look at it
Yeah, and that's what you bought. Knowingly I should add because this wasn't hidden at all, in fact all games with some form of DRM that can render it unusable are legally obligated to inform the consumer which they did.
>Irrelevant
No, not at all. That information is completely relevant because it dictates what the product is and tells you exactly what it does in big capital letters. You had all of the information you needed to know before you purchased it and you still chose to purchase a product like that anyway.
>it's just going to make them tell the customer "we will shut this game down eventually"
Which they do so at best this initiative is going to do absolutely nothing.
>most games are being sold as products
As opposed to... What exactly?
Because having DRM doesn't mean it isn't a product. You're probably going to say something stupid like
>B-B-but it's a service because it can be shut down
Without realising that
1) a service can be a product, you're confusing product for goods.
2) drm doesn't make it a service
Getting back to the point you had the warning signs and have no one to blame but yourself for buying a bad product and more you're making the exact same mistake by getting suckered in to a bad initiative because you're not doing the one thing you should have done in the first place and read shit before agreeing.

>Please try to read and understand the legal code I have already posted
You're saying this as someone who's not only trying to redefine the law and definition of function out of sheer entitlement.
