I got so fat from insomnia caused by OCD. Here's how it happened. I would only get around 5 hours of sleep every 24 hours, and I would absolutely stuff myself before bed, because it would take me several hours to fall asleep, and once I woke up after around 5 or 6 hours, I wasn't able to fall back asleep. Believe it or not, I actually used to be underweight. My appetite is actually pretty small. I got this really bad insomnia when I was 13. I weighed 130 when I was 13, and I exploded up to around 360 when I was 19. I lost around 110 pounds in 2020, and I got down to 250 and stayed there all the way up to 2024.
My sleep is way better now. I take a cocktail of four different drugs (quetiapine, suvorexant, melatonin, and zolpidem), and I wait for the drugs to kick in, and just hop into bed and fall asleep almost instantly, and I can sleep for 9 to 12 hours.
