you're right that its an extremely complex and demanding genre. that means unless you're playing people who are getting top results in worldwide tournaments the other guy you're fighting they're going to also have things they haven't mastered yet and make mistakes, mistakes you can take advantage of. the idea that fighting games are something only the sickos can ever hope to play blatantly doesn't hold up to reality where every tournament steam I see a grappler player making the same mistake 5 times in a row and still win.
