I have an Ithaca Gun Co M1911A1 slide that I got in a trade. Someone polished it, had it hot blued, installed a tall front sight blade on it and some kind of shitty adjustable target sight in the rear dovetail.

I kind of want to build it out into something, but I've priced out the parts I'd need to make even a simple complete pistol is more than just buying a mid grade replica.
