Not him but I think what he means is how in the old lore everything magical came from "chaos" and the law gods and chaos gods were two sides of the single force of chaos.
He's wrong though in that in the old lore there were separate law and chaos gods and they were distinct entities, while in 4e-7e lore they turned it into "only 4 gods exist, the 4 chaos gods, and any other gods are just their minions or themselves fucking with mortals".
They then changed this in 8e and AoS to "only 4 real gods exist, the chaos gods, and the other gods are mortals who inexplicably got magic powers after the 4 chaos gods cyclically destroyed reality".
It should be said that every instance is pretty badly written, but the 4e-7e and 8e onward lores are seriously terrible. They not only don't make much sense (especially 8eAoS which has zero logic or explanation at all) but they're also annoyingly fap-happy for the chaos gods, making them the be-all-end-all ultimate source of everything, because edgy grimdark, while also making chaos even more boring and generic (the force supposedly representing endless possibilities distills into the same 4 well-defined evil gods with armies of identical minions) than it already was.
