it would probably be a ton of 5D chess scheming to get ahead since everyone would be intelligent, have some degree of superhuman powers (senses, agility, magic affinity etc.) and live for hundreds of years.
The world would be quite heavily developed and almost entirely claimed meaning there's not wilderness in the traditional sense. At the same time it's probably not densely populated or exploited for natural goods in a conventional sense.
Maybe conflicts would ultimately be resolved through wars, but I think there would be a lot of talking before that as the elven societies would be very well developed and have old institutions and laws.
