Eito is the type of character where finding him loathsome is part of the fun. Sort of like reading about serial killers when they’re well written. Even if the fandom babies him I think they maintained the balance well between the sheer suckage of his condition and the hellish life it caused him to lead and not forgiving him for his actions based on that.
