Does anyone get annoyed with the various times the SDU ostracizes Takumi? the idea of the SDU ostracizing Takumi over certain decisions is good, the problem is when they do it the writing always takes it too far to the point of blaming him for things outside of his control, and makes the cast come across as fairweather assholes. It happens in KG, COA, Retsnom, and V'ehxness, and as I said the idea is good, but the execution is often kinda sloppy

It's kind of up the air right now but I have two theories
1. Following the "Takemaru remembers the loops" theory, everyone will begin to remember them when enough time passes
2. It's possible that the original loop was caused by Takumi wanting to save Hiruko in specific (no I don't buy that the first on screen loop is the first one chronologically, because Hiruko was clearly already looping at that point).

Why does this game have such a double standard when it comes to Takumi killing Eito? The game will endlessly punish him for killing him even after threatening the lives of him and his friends, yet when he is killed by non-Takumi sources ( Tsubasa in KG, Shion in SB ) , there is very little blowback happens by comparison.Killing Eito on day 2 might be questionable cause of the 'Innocent man' thing, but the Multiple Eitos choice is well after Eito has fully abused Takumi’s goodwill, and Takumi gets punished for something the team has done to their typical opponents before.

KG Eito had caused the deaths of Eva and Takemaru (and does potentially worse based on endings) so it was fine when he got his. Same for the world not twisting itself to punish you for killing any of the G’s since they’re always found after killing people, although I guess stopping Kako-G came with Takumi not surviving

I wouldn't exactly call it fine. In Mystery Takumi basically causes the next death by handing out the detonator to her bomb to everyone (including X) and then taunts her into setting it off (this still doesn't prevent anymore deaths, with only an entire other timeline of people showing up to have a happy ending), then Shouma just psychopathically guts her in LDA 2nd (then the whole crew dies to ensure the missiles don't go off). Takumi really isn't built for killing off people he can look in the face, good thing most of the commanders wear those masks/V'hex is so crazy

Oh it’s definitely not his best work here, and some of what’s here is just copy pasted from his own stuff.

His stories work pretty well because they’re all about the overall story not the characters or character moments but the mystery as the focus. Not to say there aren’t good character moments (VLR comes to mind with some of the character specific endings or the climax of the first AI with the special command) but it’s not the focus. And every character has some purpose for being there, so I can see it not exactly being his area of expertise to be handed other people’s characters and have to come up with something (but even then still feels noticeably not great).

It depends on how you interpret how their lives went. Takumi had his sim life stream interrupted with outside info from Nozomi so they were seemingly living a life in some sort of real time perhaps accelerated. I saw it as most likely the scientists provided the setting and outside factors to mold them a certain way but their taste in clothes and personal appearance I figure was probably up the individual. Thus they probably had to go about the annoying process of recreating their usual clothes and dyeing those who dyed their hair and also giving piercings to those who had them lol. Other interesting detail is Eito wears the wrong prescription on purpose (given from Kodaka answer) so I’m curious if the scientists were even aware it was wrong when recreating his glasses since I doubt it’s something Eito ever spoke out loud they just copied what he got assigned in the sim

Long time ago I asked if Darumi when getting married to Takumi would keep the dyed hair or opt for natural, response I got was keeping it dyed and I can see it either or.
