Didn't the US conduct the Operation Crossroads exactly for that? 23kt nukes wrecked even battleships at the time. Sure there were no damage control but even if they had the crew would be dead anyway by radiation shortly after.
200kt at 500m is probably near certain kill for most modern ships.
