as it would happen, in the land of reality: Extraction shooters are extremely boring 90% of the time, and the times where it ISN'T, it's insanely stressful, and only very specific kinds of people like those types of games, and they're DEFINITELY not the battle royale random team deathmatch no commitment types

This is why every fucking AAA shooter or just random ass game had an extraction shooter gamemode, they think extraction shooters are popular but it's the classic mistake of "MMORPGs are not super popular, WOW and FFXIV are."

So in comes mecha break with the steel chair, because it's a chinese game with no soul they just copy shit hoping it works with zero fucking vision or ideas on what they want the game to actually be besides "MECHA FPS MONEY SCI-FI STELLAR BLADE ASS" and they make an extraction shooter mode that you *need* to play to get relevant unlocks and no one fucking gives a shit
