I only play skyraider, falcon, panther, narukami, stego, luminae

Inferno was definitely Overnerfed and cannot 1v1 any frame in the game right now, but his damage is still less pitiful than hurricane.
I don't see any reason why his charge shotgun is so hindered by huge reload times, and it creates no serious distance between him and a target, giving him no escape mechanics outside of his long-cd 3.
Falcon still feels great to play even after the energy hamstring, but his damage is undeniably awful.
An easy fix that would add to skill cap would be atime spend machine-gunning a target reduces his cooldown for his right-click (or 3)
The global energy nerf really has made Tanks and healers too strong, their TTK far too high to be and enjoyable experience.
By the time you've full-comboed a luminae on almost any mech, and recharged energy, luminae's already gotten himself back up to near-full HP.
This has also increased the value of mechs with a high burst DPS profile (I.E, Panther).
Panther is becoming a top-tier pick because not only is his shield higher than before,
but his lance is one of the few things that can reliably secure kills on healers. He does this even better than stellaris does, with far more EHP.

Tricera has grown on me immensely and I am an objectiveGOD but I can't help but be annoyed I don't get as many kills as if I played Stego or Welkin

It like the Gundam, but the Zaku is so damn brain dead it's hard not to pick for an easy win. Also Falcon and Hurricane are fun.

Do the death spiral if you want to do a prolonged focus attack using heavy missiles. Otherwise just detransform and quick drop. Do not just slow down. As someone who recently played Aquilla and Narumaki for the weekly, falcons flying straight are fast food.

Instead of battlefront mayhem (I doubt the servers can even handle 40+ player drop in/drop out, I think Mashmak tops out about 15 with a bunch of bot mechs to make up the difference), I would've much rather had a duel mode. Surprisingly nothing is paywalled, the 3 mechs can be gotten with a week's worth of grind. Faster if you have the battlepass. Also everything in the battlepass can be gotten for free, it just doubles your earnings so you can get it faster.

I also didn't get why mechs in lelouch of the rebellion glided in rollerblade like fashion but it grew on me because mechs racing makes more sense than slowly lumbering about with all that weight. It depends on the show and what vision the writers have for how the robots look and behave like.

Has a hook that when re-used does the same dash stun as Panther but weaker. But he has invis and other good tools.
Buuuut Panther is still funner IMO. The toggle shield and #2 press that gives back shield + energy make it so fun to fish for jump attack stuns into full charge spear. Hit and run until you can assassinate someone/finish them off with your melees. Probably not the most useful mech but really fun.

Just click the 7 day trial and get it right away. Stellaris shreds and destroys every non heavy mech. Anything with a shield or that's able to parry will shut down stellaris though since he has lower HP and cannot sustain fights without losing energy quickly.

I have one friend that plays Narukami, but sucks ass with her. Every time he plays her he complains about her being worse then Aquila, but he doesn't like Aquila because its "too boring" then trying to be a stealth sniper somehow. He'll sometimes play Stego and occasionally do a match as Aquila, and in both instances he does like 10 times better, but he likes Narukami the most so he keeps playing her.

I like mashmak a lot. we chased a squad into a tunnel once. big mistake. Welkin put us in the rape box with a tricera and their pinaka. it's a much different dynamic than the other modes. being able to use a sniper rifle or artillery on pinaka is also cool. my favorite mech/weapon combo has been on sky raider. giving him a sword and shield or hammer. fucking bad ass.

what really pisses me off is that mashmak delayed the entire game by more than a year. and now it's like this random cancerous tumor that's always going to be attached to the main product, forever eating up dev resources and splitting the playerbase. the mode is literal p2w too. like wtf are they thinking. they had a fucking announcement saying no p2w and they do shit like this lol. it has the telltale sign of a feature creep pet project by the ceo or some director at the company that didn't put any genuine thought behind it. would really be curious as to how many hours people are dumping into mashmak versus 3v3 and 6v6. the best case scenario is it straight up dies within a month and the devs convert it to a co-op pve mode instead.

It sucks seeking superheavy strikers have 7:1 and above Kill:Death ratios.
It sucks getting one-shot by Welkin and sometimes Panther.
It sucks that Falcon damage and energy is down from the last beta. And because every Falcon used the upgrades in the open beta to get more energy, the change is more deeply felt, as that upgrade is no longer available.
It sucks having such a low flight ceiling on that one industrial grey 'push the objective' map.
It sucks that, unless you hit with every weapon perfectly, you are doing negligible chip damage.

I uninstalled when I read the the currency resets to zero at the end of a season. It fucking sucks that the game was ruined so hard with over-monetization. The one match I played showed that they fixed the balance problems between the mechs from the tests. I actually had fun. He was nerfed hard for the second beta but I think they buffed his main gun's recharge a bit. But he's actually pretty okay. The static missiles are godlike and insanely versatile. You can throw them on your team's camping stego/tricera to cover them or you can dump them in the middle of a team fight to give your boys a serious edge or just use it for yourself to cap an objective (blocks beam weapons). The cluster missile is okay to just spam and the energy missile ruins tricera/stegos day and can be clutch for interfering with people trying to cap objectives. All with really short cool downs.

Really what they need to do is change his class to Medium Support so people know what they're getting. He is more of a support than Serenith.

You simply don't without help. It's a borderline unwinnable matchup. Luminae is as fast and energy efficient as you when light wings are taken into consideration, but you're way too squishy too consistently win a shootout.
Just bite you tongue and run. You're Luminae's bitch, but he has better things to do but chase you all game. Mark him next time and maybe your Panther or Stellaris will catch him off guard and delete him with the burst and lockdown that you don't have.

I think the core combat is fun and best in class, I don't think the gameplay feels good PvP wise which is the entire focus. The base level of skill needed is too high. Gamers aren't going to be able to deal with Narukami and Stego and will just quit and the playerbase will slowly start bleeding. I don't think those robots are oppressive and uncounterable, I just think the average gamer isn't going to want to learn how to deal with it. You'll eventually get a very lower playerbase of only people that play their one or two robots until people get bored. I do not see the game lasting past a year.

What the game desperately needs is a duel mode. Throw out the 6v6 garbage, 1v1 requires far fewer players, is a far better test of skill, and is far more enjoyable. Instead we have Mashmak farming and Ace Arena RNGfest.
