I wonder if I could've gotten out of getting into a sped school (and suffering the academic consequences of that) by being more vocal about my gender dysphoria earlier and at a younger age.

Maybe I could've even transitioned earlier, at least socially if not medically.

I grew up in the 2010s and in a blue county of a blue state, so politically it probably wouldn't have even been out of reach.
