Humans have gone against nature for about 10,000 years and we won't last another 1,000 at this rate. Our species is a blip on the radar on a cosmic scale. And we're nowhere near conquering nature. A really bad solar flare could fuck our shit up. So could an asteroid or nasty disease. And we're stuck on this planet, because we haven't mastered nature enough to really leave this rock in any significant capacity. An entire generation of humans had their IQ lowered because they pumped so much lead into the atmosphere that they couldn't avoid breathing it in as children. We're currently undergoing a similar effect with the ungodly amount of microplastics and other synthetic pollutants flooding our atmosphere. A few more generations of this will have humanity looking dysgenic beyond recognition. Humans will destroy themselves with tech in the coming centuries (or sooner) while nature will still exist for billions of years after we're gone.
