ARC is strong because it can kinda mimic most builds by going hybrid, benefit from absurd status scaling and also Holy defense in a game where a lot of things have holy attacks.
Its only real weakness is that FROM forgot ARC/INT was supposed to be a thing and gave no real ARC/INT option outside of the albinauric and maternal staff, honestly a lot of the sorceries in the DLC should have been ARC/INT too, maybe they will throw ARC/INT another tiny bone in the Tarnished edition though
