No i already had interest in and gathered a wide variety of toys:
old diecast cars, vintage hemans, vinyl kaiju figures, lego, childhood plushies, designer toys, lego.
My mother collected fisherprice and was very sentimental about toys so that helped.
I'm just fascinated by toys in general now.
I even got some seamless and straight up dolls.
Most I enjoy are figures that ride the line between cute, weird and scary, most of wich were weird dudes and monsters so having some cute, spooky and with some sex appeal female toys just made sense and turned out to be really fun playing off of eachother.
I like making up their personalities and social dynamics. And deep down sort of play benevolent god creating their strange little utopia. Some physical longing is part of that, the rest sesame street shenanigans.
