While it's correct that the perspective is off, you have to keep the cone of vision in mind. Blindly following the vanishing point can lead to unappealing distortions because of how the cone of vision works.
If the image is meant as a pre-render for a video game, I would honestly leave it as is, maybe with some minor tweaks, but nothing too drastic. From what I’ve seen in backgrounds from lucasarts, sierra, and pc98 games, they usually do one of two things: either transform the objects outside the cone of vision into two-point perspective, or just flatten them completely.
