The arrangement here tells a pretty obvious story, a man wondering which way he should go ; we can easily imagine him going back and forth between the figure of the Queen of Pentacles - motherly, fertile, and well-poised in the material world ; and the figure of the Five of Swords, a card of treachery, victory at all costs, and unfair fighting.
It seems to me that Pyrok once had ambitions other than being a Berman soldier and waging war ; aspirations to a quieter life that'd fit his temperament. Yet we all know which choice he took. Such choice will one day punish him for sure, so I'd say no.
