I had Fuga MOS game on my radar for a couple of years but never committed to it, until i found the demo on Eshop , tried it. Liked it. When I saw the twins, jeez these two are the adorablest twins ever (i'm a guy btw, no girl would play a game about a bloodthirsty tank). OKAY I had to try the full game now. they finally discounted it to reasonable 50% so i bought the first games.

Now when I think about it, combat reminds me of playing card games where you reshuffle your deck (crew) every turn to get upper hand. Pretty clever.

Manga and Game take place in different timelines Anon. in the game Flam survives because her tank exploded behind her and she was flung away from it with serious injuries but a nearby nun covenant found her and took her in.

In the manga she is thrown off her tank before the Soul Canon fully obliterates her and she gets most of her injuries from the fall and the burns of the energy. She is also found by the factory workers so that is how she ends up with Jin They totally did not think about the implications of the factory workers finding her so she was probably raped over and over before given to Jin for his chance to rape and kill her but when they saw him taking care of her they kind of didnt know what to do

Also its confirmed that Maestro can tamper with the kids memories so he probably just made them forget about the Malt organs on the floor and the Taranis is probably self cleaning since it can literally fly and evolve.

I feel like the game went *too much* into linear JRPG territory for it to make good use of it's premise. They said it was originally going to be kind of Darkest Dungeon with a rouguelike idea and the soul cannon could be used in every battle, which is MUCH more intriguing, but I guess they decided to just make a normal JRPG at the end

The cards seem to tell a story surprisingly similar to Ash.
We see here the Lovers reversed, a card that hints of deep bonds, but with a negative nuance. To me it echoes with the rupture that happend between Malt and Ash, and now between Malt and Mei. The Five of Cups here is an interesting position ; normally a card that signals at loss, but reminds of what one still has, the cups that are still "standing" are on the side of the Lovers.
It makes me believe that what happened between the two is not a permanent disruption.
Ultimately, we have the 9 of Cups, a card that indeed evokes profound satisfaction in the realm of feelings, so ultimately, it might all end well after a period of grief.

I dropped Fuga 2 more than halfway through. Going back to complete routes I didn't travel on was not an engaging gameplay mechanic and it doesn't even match with the game's tone which is already all over the place. Buying things with money instead of trading also removes the unique mechanic in the first game. The bosses were all repetitive and unengaging too. 2 was already a huge downgrade from 1. Fuga 3 is a good game.
It might not be a masterpiece of storytelling but what's there is pretty solid, and I agree, the Secret Events can leave a bad taste in your mouth but that's hardly enough to ruin the overall experience.
I've read the various "complaints" in this thread and they're mostly shit, they've been since day one, not saying that all of them are bad of course however there's a clear distinction between people who actually want to criticize the game and giga-autists that got their feelings hurt by the story, not that this is surprising, the LTB games attract a lot of furries and everyone knows that most of them are batshit insane individuals that are incapable of communicating like normal people.
I'll gladly be waiting with anticipation and excitement for the next entry in the Little Tail Bronx franchise, it will probably be a long wait but alas I'll also be happy to enjoy Cecile first.

Cayenne wasn't bad, in my fanfic he could be the false flagger and his motive of getting revenge on the Berman was perfectly legitimate.
What sucked about him was that he appeared out of nowhere as the "true" villain in the bullshit Jihl plot.
I'd go even as far as to remove the Soul Cannon, and use some kind of "violence gauge" that is fueled by special attacks or actions that are especially destructive (and effective). Like the Taranis bombardments ; yeah it helps in the following battle, but almost you killed a lot of soldiers and some civilians.
The more the violence gauge increases, the less likely it is to end well for the two opposing sides ; the Berman crew wouldn't forgive Gasco if they had massacred all opposition and vice versa. Keeping the violence gauge balanced with good actions and restraint in fighting would lead to the golden ending.
