Make the game's story much smaller and only focusing on the interpersonal drama between the characters. Sure the kids stop a giant Kaiju in Fuga 1 that stays the same but for Fuga 2 it would be a more contained smaller story about Shayne Muscat surviving his assasination attempt but doesnt remember who tried it. Vanilla would reach out to the Heros of Gasco because she knows she can trust kids who risked their lives to save the country. Make Jihl the new AI instead and have him working with Cayenne in secret for the promise of being freed. Plot B would cover Flam and Jin at the factory for the first half of the game and giving them the character depth foundation needed so they can be friends alter. The audience is tricked into thinking Cayenne wants the Tarascus but in reality he was after the Belenos and there is a tank on tank final battle. 2nd half of the game Jin and flam travel to Gasco to help join the battle after seeing the anomaly in the sky when Belenos awakens. Ends with Jihl sacrificing himself to destroy the belenos and we find out he was stored in the Taranis and is freed after using his body as a fuel source but is released on a "cool down protocol" everyone has a happy end and goes back to living a normal life ends on this scene but Jihl is actually there and not up Hana's pussy
