Game really felt like it didn't need to be a trillogy.
None of the kids had designs on par with Reg/Nanachi/Riko, let alone their previous works like Mamarou-kun and Waffle.
Gameplay never evolved enough in one game, let alone all 3.
There are many reasons.

New players who got their games on sales are quite content with the purchase , guess we just like 1 for the wrong reasons as someone mentioned in the anniversary Solatorobo thread

I would make some guy talk and guys only slumber parties the majority of gameplay.

Make the game's story much smaller and only focusing on the interpersonal drama between the characters. Sure the kids stop a giant Kaiju in Fuga 1 that stays the same but for Fuga 2 it would be a more contained smaller story about Shayne Muscat surviving his assasination attempt but doesnt remember who tried it. Vanilla would reach out to the Heros of Gasco because she knows she can trust kids who risked their lives to save the country. Make Jihl the new AI instead and have him working with Cayenne in secret for the promise of being freed. Plot B would cover Flam and Jin at the factory for the first half of the game and giving them the character depth foundation needed so they can be friends alter. The audience is tricked into thinking Cayenne wants the Tarascus but in reality he was after the Belenos and there is a tank on tank final battle. 2nd half of the game Jin and flam travel to Gasco to help join the battle after seeing the anomaly in the sky when Belenos awakens. Ends with Jihl sacrificing himself to destroy the belenos and we find out he was stored in the Taranis and is freed after using his body as a fuel source but is released on a "cool down protocol" everyone has a happy end and goes back to living a normal life ends on this scene but Jihl is actually there and not up Hana's pussy

Fuga 2 secret ending would show Maestro overlooking the earth from the moon as he says his greatest opera is about to begin.

Fuga 3 would take place during the month of peace before the invasion and be about Jihl wanting to learn more about himself. He and the kids look over the Taranis trying to find answers and from the Taranis they find out about who Maestro really is and what he wants to do. Before they can do anything with this knowledge the invasion begins but the half of the taranis crew and Jihl the new pilot lead a counter attack. Meanwhile the other half of the Taranis crew are in Gasco and use the Tarascus to fight as well and the game alternates between using either tank depending on the chapter as they work to meet up together. Flam and the rest of the crew can still be support skills and the story is about beating Maestro who wants to reset the world.

Thats it no retarded Ash to ruin things. The Berman invasion and everything still happen but that was just Maestro throwing an army at the kids to keep them busy while he started his plan into motion so after the bermans are beaten it bought him enough time to reset the world and the kids stop him. The crimson knights could be servants of Maestro who were promised power and a good seat after the reset to go along with it.

Flams transmission events are pretty bland she doesn't talk to Jin at all and the only person she shows an emotion to is Chick and that's only cause Chick teases her about liking Jin. The only person she has any dynamic with is surprise surprise Jin.

Flam seems to honestly enjoy being with Jin at the end of Fuga 3. I think she realizes that Jin is truly innocent when it comes to her dad's death. So she is spending her time with him to either make it up or because she honestly cares about him. Jin has basically shown her he cares about her so I dont think she feels guilty if she ever did but she knows his feelings are genuine
