>like I just announced I'm a convicted sex offender.
A sex offender that is a working member of society would either be on the same level of you or higher, much higher.
>I never did nothing to them,
>Literally all I did was not work.
'All I did was not work' not quite, you seem to genuinely not understand, so, even though I will likely be loosing my time explaining it, I will try.

If you became a monk or a hermit, lived in a forest, monastery or by the kindness of others, you would be mostly good, even as a hermit and here's why:

They either live with their institution's money, which mainly comes through donations, or on their own (forest monks) with very little help from others (voluntary help), which also includes the hermit. What they get from the state? Either nothing or very little in very specific situations, e.g. medical emergency.
Their families? The same, they don't take from their families.

A NEET either will leach from parents, government or schemes that will often TAKE from somebody. That's the main point, they TAKE from someone, without providing anything in return, or very little. You know why a lot of Europeans hated Jews? It wasn't just the Germans, nor it was only in the 19th and 20th centuries. Jews often made small fortunes by just trading and speculating, buying something for cheap and selling at a higher price, no concern with quality or purpose, they didn't plow the field or created something like an artisan, just buy cheap, sell higher, speculate or borrow at an interest. Without producing anything of real value, but by just taking a 'ride' in someone else's work, a clever way to take, a legal one, I'll grant that, credit is due where credit is due. But nonetheless, we humans instinctively have a sense of 'fairness', an illusion, yes, but it's there.
