I recently beat Path of the Abyss
It was kinda fun, but also kinda fucked.
Itemization was good and it was cool when you beat the final boss and it's like "lol, good job finishing the tutorial" and opens up a new huge post game dungeon with new mechanics and tiers upon tiers of new gear to find

But on the other hand, the combat skill slot system is WAY too restrictive and shoots the game's own class system in the foot. Your characters end up with large numbers of abilities they can never actually use because you don't have the space to set them.
