The one dub I appreciate is the Meditech CEO from Ghost in the Shell SAC who put himself in one of those funky Johnson (?) box robot bodies. The subs gave him a Kansai accent but the dub gave him the most ridiculous Texas oil baron accent. HOWDY PARTNER! It actually works.
