Accent aside, Japanese sounds okay for my spic ears, probably because our pronunciation is somewhat similar. I don't have a problem with English (dubs) at all, but I simply do not understand why you united-statians make your anime (and specifically anime) dubs sound EXACTLY like cartoon dubs. There are exceptions here and there, but most of the time you can take the audio from a cartoon, put it into an anee-may and you won't notice any difference at all. Also, female VA try way too hard to sound "cute uguu".
