Normies will say no. True RE enjoyers know the answer’s yes. Sure, the production value is way lower than mainline titles, but what you get is pure, unfiltered kino. The story? Surprisingly solid and even good if you pay attention. The characters actually have distinct personalities (even if the designs aren’t as slick, they stick with you).
Gameplay? Top tier once it clicks. Raid Mode is basically its own co-op loot shooter with RPG elements, and it is really amazing. As a longtime Mercs addict, I’ll say it loud: Raid Mode clears Mercs in almost every category. You can easily sink hundreds of hours into it.
I could go on, but you get the idea.

TL;DR: Casual fans or normies won’t get it. Real RE connoisseurs know they’re feasting.
Side note: Steam version (especially for Rev1) is outdated. Play on console if you can.
