and i guess i'll go into what i'm thinking. 6 years ago there was a trade deal with china, hailed as the big one, dunno if you all remember or not. the day after it was inked chinese propaganda ratcheted up big time, they didn't like the deal. 4 months later we had a general strike - er, i mean, an unpredictable global pandemic. china doesn't view international agreements the same way other countries do, they see themselves as under coercion.
anyways here we are today and changleaf is in town doing his thing, other boards are filled with chinese agitprop, the usual suspects in the alternative media are still railing about things, and i can't imagine they're happy in beijing about what happened in tehran. just sayin, i don't want to be levered right now, so i'm not. headed out to my balcony for some tea and a bird vigil.
