Japanese are so fond of their manzai routine that they need to have a tsukkomi, a voice of reason, in every group dynamic. The tsukkomi is basically condemned to be the worst girl in every scenario, as her only job is pointing out their bokke's stupidity. Yet, Hakika invented a tsukkomi that is always with the player, therefore he doesn't need to "waste" a party slot on a boring tsukkomi girl every game and they can all be varying degrees of bokke. Even the ones that are a bit tsukkomi, like Maria, Tirma etc., are still allowed to be dumb sometimes because Dire can always take the fall.
And the best thing is, Dire avoids the downside of being a tsukkomi (being a boring stick in the mud) by virtue of being always around, so you end up considering him a bro and it's not grating, it's even welcome having someone who is not a complete (beloved) retard sometimes.
